Perhaps it’s better to show, not tell, why I haven’t blogged the past couple of weeks …
Jeff and I were in Vegas for a conference for Jeff, and my friend Anil came up for a night. He comes to Vegas often, and when he tried to check into Mandalay Bay, they told him there was a “red line” next to his name. He said he’s done a lot of stupid shit in Vegas, so he was ready to run … but apparently what they wanted to do was upgrade him. And upgrade it was! Check out the video below to see his hotel suite at THE Hotel. He has no idea why … but that, among other fun adventures, is why I’ve been too busy to seek out free wifi to tell you about them. P.S. No, there was no tiger in his room the next morning, although he was expecting there to be.

Nice! Never been to Las Vegas, but there may be a trip there someday…
And incidentally, in the list of ways that our lives are oddly similar sometimes, I have a friend Anil who gets just ridiculous hotel/travel upgrades all the time!
