So I thought I’d log my weekly calories during the 6-week calorie burn challenge TrySports is hosting, that I first mentioned here. Week 1 results are here. If you haven’t already, come out and do the challenge with us – all you need is a heart rate monitor and the ability to do a group run or walk at TrySports at least once a week (they do them Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15.)
Week 2
Monday: Running/walking – 3.98 miles – 50 minutes – 415 calories
Tuesday: Running – 4.13 miles – 39 minutes – 481 calories
Wednesday: Running – 2.02 miles – 19 minutes – 242 calories
Saturday: Running (the understatement of this post) – 26.2 miles – 4 hours, 29 minutes, 37 seconds– 3,101 calories
Walking – warm up and cooldown – 1.5 miles – 32 minutes – 124 calories
Total for week: 38 miles – 6 hours 49 minutes – 4363 calories
Total for challenge: 7140 calories (out of 10,000 for challenge)
