What do you have to forgive someone for?

Note: I’m writing the 30 Days of Truth topics, not necessarily in the next 30 days, but in at some point, eventually, I will get all 30 days done. Write with me! On your blog if you have one, in the comments here if you don’t or if you don’t want to put it on your blog.

Day 04 → Something you have to forgive someone for.

I have sat on this topic for more than a week now. And the truth is, I have absolutely no one that I need to forgive.

I don’t want to punk out on this topic. Which is why I didn’t write about it initially. I kept thinking surely there was someone, somewhere that was weighing heavy on my mind. Someone that didn’t have my forgiveness but who needed it. Someone who I needed to forgive for my own sanity.

But no, there is no one.

I am not saying no one’s ever done me wrong. I’m not saying there haven’t been times I’ve needed to forgive someone. But I must not be harboring any ill will about any of it, because none of it is weighing on my mind at this moment in time.

I wanted to give you drama. I wanted to have a revelation about it all. But alas, there is no one I need to forgive.

And you know what? That feels pretty good.

Who do you need to forgive?

I threw a “loaded” camera at you one time. I begged forgiveness, and it wasn’t granted.

    So, there you go.

    Apology accepted???? 🙂

Girl, I’m so with you. I don’t dwell on stuff or keep that negativity around. Unfortunately these prompts don’t always produce great posts.
But the ones that seem the most lame sometimes inspire the best blog fodder. Good luck with these!
