What a pleasant surprise I received in the mail this week:
Ok, before this I would have said The Melting Pot is my very favorite restaurant simply based on their food, but now all I can say is – wow, they’re the whole package. They sure know how to romance a girl into giving up all those calories burned. I wonder if one could marry a restaurant …

The Melting Pot is awesome! That’s where Alex and I had our rehearsal dinner, and about a month later we got about $400 in gift certificates from them in the mail. I had no idea why, until Alex reminded me that they had us sign up for their rewards program when we booked the dinner. It’s the only restaurant I’ve ever been to where they always make us feel like they’re genuinely glad we’re there – and I love that they have so many community-outreach events (at least the one by us does)!

This is really amazing. That’s cool that they read the article and then decided to thank you for mentioning them. It’s always nice to hear that customer service is still strong in some establishments. I’ll never forget the dinner you and Jeff took us to when we got engaged. It was our first Melting Pot experience!!!

Crazy…Last night we were out with friends and we had a whole debate about The Melting Pot. The guys hated it b/c they always left the place hungry. The girls loved it b/c it forced them to slow down and have a good long conversation with friends. All I know is that I had my college graduation dinner here and I have nothing but fond memories. I don’t think there’s anything better than dipping stuff in cheese, grease, and chocolate (separately, of course). Okay, maybe sex, but wouldn’t sex be so much better if we could somehow combine it with dippage into the aforementioned pots of heaven? Separately, of course.
